The Department-related events ranged from training primary school teachers to CAPS [Curriculum Assessment Policy Statement] Coding and Robotics Curriculum for Grades R-3. A Microsoft’s 2019 #MakeWhatsNext Campaign provided young girls with opportunities in the STEM space to make their dreams and aspirations become a reality.
Events in KwaZulu Natal have included a week of one-hour Coding session at the Ningizimu Special School, DigiKids sessions at the LIV Village for orphaned and vulnerable children, and Medical students event.
