Events

In addition to the Ithala Edu Platform and our WebTalks, GoDigitalSA’s journey includes partnering with organisations like the Department of Education and Microsoft.

The Department-related events ranged from training primary school teachers to CAPS [Curriculum Assessment Policy Statement] Coding and Robotics Curriculum for Grades R-3. A Microsoft’s 2019 #MakeWhatsNext Campaign provided young girls with opportunities in the STEM space to make their dreams and aspirations become a reality.

Events in KwaZulu Natal have included a week of one-hour Coding session at the Ningizimu Special School, DigiKids sessions at the LIV Village for orphaned and vulnerable children, and Medical students event.

Knowledge pillars include Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Gamification, Internet of Things, Knowledge Management, Open Data People, Robotics, 3D Printing.

Into the future includes Smart Village initiatives.
